60 Seconds in the Life of a Subway Window
Part 39 in an ongoing series of (approximately) 60 Second Films.

I'm a professional photographer who sometimes gets ideas for photos, designs, gadgets, and other projects. I write about it all on this blog. You can find the meaning behind the name “Ironic Sans” back in the very first post.

This site is © 2008 and except for fair use it may not be reproduced without my permission. Luckily, permission is usually easy to obtain. Contact me and we'll talk. This blog is typeset in Georgia, Times New Roman, or Times, in that order of priority based on what fonts are installed on your computer, or whatever standard serif font is installed if none of the above. The exceptions are the main title, which is based roughly on Baskerville Old Face, and the handwritten parts which are, well, my handwriting.

Bra-illiant! I love the mosaic the view creates and then the shift to reflection of the interior when in the tunnel. Sigh. The bing bong sound made me miss New York.

Nice transition! I could definitely see a shot like that being used in a feature film.

It’s very cool the way the reflection of other passenger quickly starts looking like it’s real and not a reflection anymore.

Further proof for how gorgeous NYC (even just the subway) can be! What kinda of camera did you use?
