Crash into me
I saw this ad on a website I visited recently:

Isn’t the first rule of automobile advertising that you don’t put “roll over” in big letters above a picture of your car?

Pre-pixelated clothes for Reality TV shows. Check out the post that started it all.

I'm a professional photographer who sometimes gets ideas for photos, designs, gadgets, and other projects. I write about it all on this blog. You can find the meaning behind the name “Ironic Sans” back in the very first post.

This site is © 2008 and except for fair use it may not be reproduced without my permission. Luckily, permission is usually easy to obtain. Contact me and we'll talk. This blog is typeset in Georgia, Times New Roman, or Times, in that order of priority based on what fonts are installed on your computer, or whatever standard serif font is installed if none of the above. The exceptions are the main title, which is based roughly on Baskerville Old Face, and the handwritten parts which are, well, my handwriting.

I can see this execution working if the automaker (Volvo, perhaps) wanted to show off safety features of their car.
You could literally wreck the thing and see how the folks inside stayed safe.
My two cents.

It would be much more suitable for an ad about a playful puppy (the ALL-NEW 2007 MONGREL MKX FWD).

It’s round enough to roll over, just not high enough.

This has to be a joke.

wow, someone didn’t think that through. Or whoever designed it was pretty stupid.
