60 Seconds in the Life of a Painting

Part 18 in an ongoing series of (approximately) 60 second films.

I’m always fascinated every time they change this ad space. Instead of putting up a giant printed ad, like I see on other walls, this wall actually gets repainted by hand, sometimes in great detail.

Here are some photos of the progress:

It’s the hard work of that “human” painter that brings along the wonder of such ad. Indeed there is something fascinating with something done by hand. Those printed ads appear so unfussy and the fact that they were easily done using computers and the likes made them uninteresting as well. It’s as if such ad are beautiful minus the wonder behind it.

I saw every little video, and I though how fast life passes by and we can’t even tell…there is so much going on out there and we live such a fast passed life that we forget to enjoy the small things, the obvious. I was really fascinated to see someone took the time to experience it!

I liked the short videos, they are rare and unusual;they are also fun to watch like brain teasers.

Guy on the left is thinking, “I want to try safety-wire swinging so bad. If only I didn’t need this job so badly.”

Good work. Interesting posts, besides those spam…
