Lost in translation

I’ve finally had time to watch the most recent episode of “Lost.” I was shocked to see this in a subtitled scene:

Lost error

“You’re husband… he works for your father.”

Um… I know that the writers sneak all sorts of subtle clues about the show into the dialogue, the scenery, and elsewhere, but I assume this one was a legitimate mistake.

I noticed that, too…and was bugged by it for the rest of the episode.

I was too.

Oh no—I missed the episode [thanks to evil American Idol], don’t have Tivo, and I don’t get the reference. Please explain!

I’m glad I’m not the only grammar geek who caught that. It was very distressing to me.

That was a stupid mistake.
