60 Seconds in the Life of a Staircase
Part 6 in an ongoing series of (approximately) 60 second films.
I almost named this one “60 Seconds in the Life of a Guy in a Sweater Vest”

Pre-pixelated clothes for Reality TV shows. Check out the post that started it all.

I'm a professional photographer who sometimes gets ideas for photos, designs, gadgets, and other projects. I write about it all on this blog. You can find the meaning behind the name “Ironic Sans” back in the very first post.

This blog is typeset in Georgia, Times New Roman, or Times, in that order of priority based on what fonts are installed on your computer, or whatever standard serif font is installed if none of the above. The exceptions are the main title, which is based roughly on Baskerville Old Face, and the handwritten parts which are, well, my handwriting.

You probably should name it “that guy”

Just stumbled here… I really love your concept for the 60 second films. Some of them are really artistic. Thanks for these.

I LOVE your 60 Second videos. I am at work at 7:00 at night and I just laughed my ass off at “Life of a Staircase” AKA “Life of a Guy Wearing a Sweater Vest”. I also love the idea of a serif font named Ironic Sans. Very witty. Can you tell I’m a designer? Thanks for this fabulous web site!

He’s totally creeping me out! Note to self…if you see a sweater vest…run…but not that fast…they move at a slow pace.

It’s interesting to hear from a differned perspective. When I watched the movie, I found him refreshing among all of the rushed people around him. I saw him as a dreamer. Then when I read Rebeccas comments I watched it again and it made me laugh outloud viewing from her perspective.
