60 Seconds in the Life of Steam

Part 2 in an ongoing series of (approximately) 60 second films.

This one is called “60 Seconds in the Life of Steam” and was filmed at 42nd Street and Second Avenue in Manhattan.

I like how the steam follows whatever person just passed by it. The steam says, “Wait! come back! come back… aww nuts.”

I am enjoying watching your “60 seconds in the life of” series. So far I have seen the landing gear and staircase/guy in sweater vest. I’m surprised at how entertaining such a simple concept is. All the films develop a sense of anticipation - a sense of tension builds as you wait for the next person to enter the frame. Good stuff!.

Oh I have a question - what’s going on under the street to cause all that steam?
